recruited 50 women diagnosed with preeclampsia as
cases and 50 women without preeclampsia as
controls in a tertiary care hospital. Both cases and

pregnancy weight and height. The pre-pregnancy body
mass index (BMI) was calculated for all. Among the
cases, 15 women with preeclampsia and 5 women
