A half metre rod is pivoted at the centre with two weights of 20 gf and 12gf suspended at a perpendicular distance of 6cm and 10cm from the point. Which of the two forces acting on the rigid rod causes clockwise moment.
My Question is how and which force we can determine whether the it is clockwise or anti clockwise because the direction is same as given in the diagram

From there you will be able to figure out whether the force will push/pull the arm in clockwise or anti-clockwise. This is the convention (direction) of the moment due to the force.

The 12 gf force is clockwise.

The 20 gf force is anticlockwise
