Length of the hall = 30 m

Breadth of the hall = 20 m

Area of Hall = L × B

= 30×20

= 600 sq.m

As Hall is surrounding by veranda by 3 m

Hence Total length is 30 +3 +3= 36m

Total Breadth is = 20 +3+3 = 26 m

Total Area = L × B

= 36 × 26

= 936 sq.m

Now The Area of Veranda = Total Area - Area of Hall

= 936 - 600

= 336 sq.m
