Given that :-

  • Length of a hall = 15 m

  • Breadth of a hall = 10 m

  • Height of a hall = 5 m

To find :-

the total area to be white-washed.

Solution :-

Length of a hall ( l) = 15 m

Breadth of a hall ( b) = 10 m

Height of a hall ( h) = 5 m

Area of 4 walls = 2 ( L + b ) × h

= 2 ( 15 + 10 ) × 5 sq.m

= 2 ( 25 ) × 5 sq.m

= 250 sq.m

Area of the roof = L × B

= ( 15 × 10 ) sq.m

= 150 sq.m

Hence,

the total area to be white - washed

= 250sq.m + 150 sq.m

= 400 sq.m

Step-by-step explanation:

Given that :-

Length of a hall = 15 m

Breadth of a hall = 10 m

Height of a hall = 5 m

To find :-

the total area to be white-washed.

= 400 sq.m
