a hall is 20 m long and 16 m wide. the area of its four wall is equal to the area of floor and the ceiling together . find the height of hall ​

Solution :

Area of four walls = 2(l + b) h

Area of roof and floor = lb + lb = 2lb

According to the question,

2(l + b) h = 2lb

(l + b) h = lb

(20 + 16)h = 20 × 16

36h = 320

h = 320/ 36

h = 80/9

h = 8.89
