Dimensions of the hall = 16m by12m.

Dimensions of the tiles = 4m by 4m.

Therefore no. of tiles = Dimensions of hall/Dimensions of tiles

= 16m × 12m / 4m × 4m

=12.

Therefore 12 tiles are required to pave it's floor.

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Area of floor = l * b

= 16 * 12

= 192 m²

Area of each tile = side* side

= 4*4

= 16 m²

Now, no. of tiles, n

n = 192/16

= 12 tiles

therefore 12 tiles will be required to pave its floor
