Step by step explination :)

Area of Hall without veranda
= 16 * 12
= 192 m

Length with veranda
= 16+(1.5*2)
= 19 m

Breadth with veranda
= 12+(1.5*2)
= 15 m

Area of Hall with veranda
= 19 * 15
= 285 m


Area of veranda
= area of hall with veranda - area of hall without veranda
= 285-192
= 93 m
