\bigstar $GIVEN:

  • Mass (m) = 1.5 Kg.
  • Initial velocity (u) = 0ms⁻¹ (This is because the hammer moves from rest).
  • Final Velocity (v) = 10ms⁻¹.
  • Time (t) = 0.01 Seconds.

\bigstar $FORMULA'S  USED:

\to a=\frac{(v-u)}{t}

\to F=ma

\bigstar $SOLUTION:$

First, let's find the acceleration so that we can use it in Force formula.

\to a=\frac{(v-u)}{t}

\to a=\frac{40-0}{0.01}

\to a= 4000 ms^{-2}

Then, use this formula:

\to F=ma

\to F=1.5\times 4000

\to F=6000 N

\therefore $FORCE = 6000 N$
