Given:

Equations of motion = v = u - gt

Height h = ut - 1/2 * g * t^2

v = final velocity at max. height = 0

g = acceleration due to gravity = 9.8 m/s^2

t = time of motion

Hence we have, 0 = 19.6 - 9.8t

t = 2 s

h = 19.6 * 2 - 1/2 * 9.8 * 4 = 19.6 m

The correct option is "B"

The answer is  19.6m
