A heap of jelly is in the form of frustum of pyramid. The base is a rectangle 90by60cm & the top is 60by40cm. If thickness is 8cm, find the volume of heap

H/3(B1+B2+√B1*B2)

Where B1 is the area of top and while B2 is area of base

So first we will find the area of top and the base

Area of top=B1=60*40=2400cm²

And now the area of base=B2=90*60=5400cm²

So the volume of frustum of pyramid is

8/3*(2400+5400+√2400*5400)

8/3*(7800+√12960000)

8/3(7800+3600)

8/3(11400)

8*3800

=30400cm²
