Volume = 1/3πr2h

1/3 × 22/7 × 12×12×3.5

= 528 m3

Canvas of cloth required = CSA Of cone

l = √144+12.25

=25/2=12.5m

CSA = 3.14×12×12.5

=471 m2

Find the curved surface area:

Curved surface area = πrl

Curved surface area = π(12)(12.5) = 471.4 m²

Answer: The volume is  528 m³ and 471.4 m² of canvas cloth is needed to cover the heap.

Answer:

here it is

Step-by-step explanation:

Diameter of cone = 24 m

Height of cone = 3.5 m

Volume of cone = 1/3 π r2 h

1/ 3 * 22/7 * 12 * 12 * 3.5

528 m3

Now to find the cloth required to just cover the he will find the CSA of cone

l = √r2 + h2

L = √ (12)2 + (3.5)2

L = √ 144 + 12.25

L = √ 156.25
