Step-by-step explanation:

Given :

Cone Diameter = 12 m

Cone Height = 8 m

π = 3.14

Find

Volume

How Much Canvas Cloth is required cover heap

Solution

Now Using Formula

Volume of Cone = 1/3 × π r^2 × h

radius = 12/2

radius = 6 cm

Height = 8 m

Volume of Cone = ( 1/3) × 3.14 × 6^2 × 8

Volume of Cone = 301.44 m^3

The amount of Canvas cloth required

the Curved surface area of heap = π × r × l

we know that

l^2 = h^2 + r^2

l^2 = 8^2 + 6^2

l^2 = 64 + 36

l^2 = 100

l = √ 100

l = 10 cm

therefore the amount cloth

π × 6 × 10

3.14 × 10 × 6

= 188.4 cm^2

The volume of Cone is 301.44 m^3

The Canvas cloth required cover heap is 188.4 cm^2
