Answer:
1742400 J
Explanation:
According to the given question,
R = Resistance = 100 ohm
V = Volt = 220 V
t = time = 1 h = 3600 sec
H = Heat
And we are asked to find the heat produced by the heater.
We know,
- H = (V^2/R )×t
Putting the values we get,
- H = (220×220/100)×3600
- H = 1742400 J
Thus heat Produced is 1742400 J by the heater coil.

Solution :-
Given that :-
Resistance = 100 Ω
Potential Difference = 220 V
Time = 1 hrs = 60 min = 3600 sec
Now we have
Heat = Power × t
Power = V² ÷ R
So Heat produced in one sec
= (220)² ÷ 100 × 1
= 48400 ÷ 100 × 1
= 484 Joules
Now heat produced in 3600 sec
= 484 × 3600
= 1742400 Joules
