Power =potential difference * current= V * I= 220 V * I= 1.5 kW= 1500 W
Therefore I= 1500W/ 220V= 6.81A
But we have a fuse with an upper limit of 5A. Since the current requirement is much more than the fuse limit, the fuse will melt ude to excess current and heat, and break the circuit, stopping current flow.
The electrician should include a fuse of 10 A or 15 A in the ciruit to prevent this.
