Given:-

  • Resistance of appliances ,R = 115Ω
  • Current flow through it,I = 2A

To Find:-

  • Power of Appliances ,P

Solution:-

According to the Question

It is given that a heating appliances has a resistance of 115ohm if 2A current flows through it.

We have to calculate the power of the appliances.

We know the relationship between Power ,Resistance & Current.

  • P = R

where,

  • P denote Power
  • I denote Current
  • R denote Resistance

Putting the value we get

→ P = 2²×115

→ P = 4 × 115

→ P = 460 Watt

  • Hence, the power of the heating appliances is 460 watts.

Answer:

Given :-

  • A heating appliances has a resistance of 115 ohm.
  • The current flows through it is 2A.

To Find :-

  • What is the power of the appliances.

Formula Used :-

\clubsuit Power Formula :

\mapsto \sf\boxed{\bold{\pink{P =\: I^2R}}}

where,

  • I = Current in amperes
  • R = Resistance in ohms
  • P = Power in Watts

Solution :-

Given :

\bigstar\: \bf{Resistance =\: 115\: ohm}

\bigstar\: \bf{Current =\: 2\: Ampere}

According to the question by using the formula we get,

\longrightarrow \sf Power_{(Appliances)} =\: (2)^2 \times 115

\longrightarrow \sf Power_{(Appliances)} =\: 2 \times 2 \times 115

\longrightarrow \sf Power_{(Appliances)} =\: 2 \times 230

\longrightarrow \sf Power_{(Appliances)} =\: 460

\longrightarrow \sf\bold{\red{Power_{(Appliances)} =\: 460\: Watts}}

\therefore The power of the appliances is 460 Watts.
