Given : A heating coil of resistance 10 volt takes a current of 2 ampere,

To Find :  the heat developed by is in 5 second s is

A. 1000 Joules

B. 200 Joules

C. 100 Joules

D. 2200 Joules

Solution:

Resistance is 10 Ω

R = 10  Ω

I  = 2A  current

t  = 5 sec  time

Heat  = I²Rt

= ( 2)² * 10 * 5

= 200 Joule

200 Joule is correct answer
