a heavy ball falls falls on a thick bed of wet sand from different heights 50cm 1m amd 2m respectively and the depressions created in wet sand are carefully measured :
a.which impression is the deepest .why?
b.which impression is the shallowest .why?​

knowledge to be used:-

height of the object is directly proportional to the depression formed

i.e. if the height from which the object is thrown is more then the depression formed will be also deeper.

so, here, the heights are:-

50cm = 0.5 m

1m

2m

among these 2m is very high so when the ball is thrown from this much height then the impression formed will be the deepest

and 0.5m is the least height so when the object is thrown from here, the impression formed will be the shallowest.
