A heavy box of mass 25 kg is placed on a horizontal surface. If the coefficient of friction between the box and the horizontal surface is 0.25 , calculate the force of kinetic friction. Also calculate the acceleration produced under a force of 196 N applied horizontally?

Answer:

kinetic friction = 0.25 ×N

= 0.25 × 25×9.8

=61.25

acceleration = F/m

= 196/25
