let the height be x
then, the h. of A will be x+x x ( multiply )20/100
=x+x/5
=5x + x/ 5
=6x/5

difference between their height= 6x/5 - x= x/5
percentage= differences x 100/ its height
= x/5/6x/5 x 100
= 50/3

Hey Mate,

Suppose,
B height is 100 c.m
A height is 20% more than B
So,
Height of A = 120 C.m

We need to find what percent is B height is less than A.

Difference of their height is (120 - 100) = 20C.m

% = (20/120) × 100
% = 16.6666 or 50/ 3

So, B height is 16.6667% or (50/3) % smaller than A height.
