Hii Dear,

◆ Answer -

Relative velocity = 60√2 kmph

◆ Explaination -

Given that helicopter and bird are travelling in south and east, their velocity vectors are perpendicular to each other.

By law of addition of vectors, relative velocity of helicopter w.r.t. bird is given by -

vhb = √(vh^2 + vb^2 + 2×vh×vb×cosθ)

vhb = √(60^2 + 60^2 + 2×60×60×cos90°)

vhb = √(2×60^2 + 2×60×60×0)

vhb = 60√2 kmph

Therefore, relative velocity of helicopter w.r.t. bird is 60√2 kmph.

Best luck...
