Answer:

thickness=0.25 cm

Inner radius=5 cm

inner TSA=3πr²=3x22/7x5cmx5cm=235.71429 cm²

outer radius=5 + 0.25 cm=5.25 cm

outer TSA=3πr²=3x22/7x5.25cmx5.25cm=259.875 cm²

Ratio=259.875cm²:235.71429cm²=259.875cm²/235.71429cm²=260/236(approximate values)=65/59=65:59

Answer:

Solutions :-

Given :

Inner Radius = r = 5 cm

Outer Radius = R = (5 + 0.25) cm = 5.25 cm

Find the ratio of outer surface area to inner surface area :-

Outer Surface / Inner Surface

= 2πR²/2πr²

= R²/r²

= 5.25²/5²

= 27.5625/25

= 275625/25 × 10000

= 275625/250000

= 441/400

= 441 : 400

Hence,

The ratio of outer surface area to inner surface area = 441 : 400
