AnswEr :

A Sphere is made up of 2 Hemisphere. So the Radius of Sphere will be Radius for Hemisphere too. If we want to Find Curved Surface Area of Hemisphere, then we simply half the Surface Area of Sphere.

  • Given Radius ( r ) = 7 cm

Let's Head to the Question Now :

\implies \tt CSA_{ \tiny Hemisphere}=\dfrac{1}{2} \times Surface \: Area  \:of \:Sphere

\implies \tt CSA_{ \tiny Hemisphere}=\dfrac{1}{\cancel2} \times \cancel4\pi {r}^{2}

\implies \tt CSA_{ \tiny Hemisphere}=2\pi {r}^{2}

\implies \tt CSA_{ \tiny Hemisphere}=2 \times \dfrac{22}{7} \times {(7)}^{2}

\implies \tt CSA_{ \tiny Hemisphere}=2 \times \dfrac{22}{ \cancel7} \times \cancel7 \times 7

\implies \tt CSA_{ \tiny Hemisphere}=2 \times 22 \times 7

\implies \large \boxed{\tt CSA_{ \tiny Hemisphere}=308 \:{cm}^{2} }

Hence, CSA of Hemisphere is 308 cm²

Answer:

=> CSA of Hemisphere = 2πr²

=> CSA of Hemisphere = 2 × 22 /7 × ( 7 )²

=> CSA of Hemisphere = 2 × 22 × 7

=> CSA of Hemisphere = 308 cm²

• CSA of Hemisphere is 308 cm²
