                                                               = \frac{1}{2}(4\pi r^{2}  )

Inner diameter of hemisphere , d=14 cm

To find:

Curved surface area of hemisphere , CSA

Solution:

  • Radius of hemisphere, r=\frac{d}{2}    = \frac{14}{2}   (since d=14)

                                      r=7 cm

  • Substitute values in formula A,

                                CSA = 2\pi r^{2} \\\\

                                         =2*\frac{22}{7} *7^{2}

                                         = 2*22*7

                                         =308 cm^{2}  

Hence, circumference of hemisphere with diameter 14cm is 308cm^{2}
