volume of hemisphere = volume of cone
2/3 * pie * 9^3 = 1/3 *pie * r^2 * 72
r^2 = 9 * 9 * 9 * 2/72
r = square root(81/4)
r = 9/2 = 4.5 cm ANSWER.
