Given,

Height of the bowl = 7 cm

Number of bowls = 3

To find,

Amount of milk that can be contained by those three bowls.

Solution,

We can simply solve this mathematical problem by using the following mathematical process.

Now,

Height of the bowl = Radius of the bowl = 7 cm

(As it is a hemisphere in shape.)

Volume of one bowl = ⅔ × π × (7)³ = ⅔ × 22/7 × 343

= 15092/21 = 718.6 cm³

Volume of three bowls = 718.6×3 = 2155.8 cm³

Milk containing capacity = 2155.8 cm³ = 2.15 litres (approx)

[Term of unit conversion = 1000 cm³ = 1 litre]

Hence, the milk retaining capacity is 2.15 litres.
