Answer :-

we need to find out outer curved surface area

hence , we need to find out Outer radius

Given inner radius = 5 cm

hence Outer radius = r = 5 + 0.25 cm = 5.25 cm

Hence, outer  \: curved  \: \\  surface = 2 \pi  {r}^{2}

(2 \times  \frac{22}{7}  \times 5.25 \times 5.25) {cm}^{2}

 =  \geqslant 173.25 \:  {cm}^{2}

Question:-

A hemispherical bowl is made of steel 0.25 cm thick the inner radius of the bowl is 5 cm.

To Find :-

find the outer curved surface area of bowl.

Sollution :-

Here,

inner radius= 5cm.

thickness of steel sheet =0.25cm.

now adding both, we get!

Radius of bowl(r)= 5+0.25⇒5.25cm.

Outer curved surface of the bowl = \boxed{2\pi {r}^{2}}

2 \times  \frac{22}{7}  \times  {5.25}^{2}

2 \times  \frac{22}{7}  \times 27.56

{173.25 \: cm^{2}}
