<b>let R be outer radius and 'r' inner radius</b>

the thickness of ring = 5 cm

<b>R = (r + 5 ) cm</b>

R = (35 + 5) cm

R = 40 cm

<b>TSA = CSA of outer hemisphere + CSA of inner hemisphere + area of ring</b>

= 2πR² + 2πr² + π(R² - r²)

= π(2R² + 2r² + R² - r²)

= 22/7 (3R² + r²)

= <b>18935.71 cm²</b> (approx).

ANSWER

18935.71cm^2

Step By Step Explanations

plz refer to the attachment for a detailed answer with explaination.

Remember

-Curved surface Area of hemisphere =2\times\pi\times r^2

-Hemisphere is just a half piece of Sphere which is equally divided to form two equal pieces of Sphere.

-Volume of hemisphere = 2/3 \pi\times r ^3

-Total surface area of a hemisphere

= 3\times\pi\times r^2
