Given:

Diameter of hemisphere = 17.5 cm.

Then, radius = 8.75 cm.

Curved Area of hemisphere = 2πr²

= 2 * (22/7) * (8.75)²

= 480.81 cm²

Cost of tin-plating 100 cm² = 16

cost of tin-plating 480.81 cm² = (1/100) * 16 * 480.81

                                                 = 76.92

Therefore, Cost of tin-plating is 76.92

Hope it helps!

ANSWER:-

Given:

A hemispherical bowl made of brass has inner diameter is 17.5cm.

To find:

Find the cost of tin-plating at on the inside at the rate of 16 per 100cm².

Solution:

Inner diameter= 17.5cm

Therefore,

Inner radius, (r);

 = > \frac{17.5}{2} \\ \\ = > \frac{17.5 \times 10}{2 \times 10} \\ \\ = > \frac{175}{20} \\ \\ = > 8.75cm

Inner surface area= 2πr²

=) 2×π × (8.75)²

=) 2×π × 76.5625

=) π× 153.125

=) 3.14 × 153.125

=) 480.81cm²

Now,

Cost of tin-plating at the rate of Rs.16 per 100cm²

 = > Rs.\frac{16}{100} \times 480.81 \\ \\ = > Rs. \frac{7692.96}{100} \\ \\ = > Rs.76.92

Hope it helps ☺️
