Given :

  • Inner Diameter of Hemispherical Bowl is 10.5 cm .

To Find :

  • Surface Area of Hemisphere .

Solution :

\longmapsto\tt{Radius(r)=\dfrac{10.5}{2}}

Using Formula :

\longmapsto\tt\boxed{C.S.A\:of\:Hemisphere=2\pi{{r}^{2}}}

Putting Values :

\longmapsto\tt{{\cancel{2}}\times\dfrac{{\cancel{22}}}{7}\times\dfrac{105}{{\cancel{2}}\times{10}}\times\dfrac{105}{{\cancel{2}}\times{10}}}

\longmapsto\tt{\dfrac{11\times{105}\times{105}}{700}}

\longmapsto\tt{\cancel\dfrac{121275}{700}}

\longmapsto\tt\bf{173.25\:{cm}^{2}}

So , The Surface Area of Bowl is 173.25 cm² ...

Diameter = 10.5 cm

Radius = d/2 = 10.5/2 = 5.25

Curved surface area of hemisphere=2¶r²

=2¶ (5.25)² = 173. 25 cm²

Cost of tin plating 100 cm² = ₹ 16

Cost of tin plating 1 cm² = ₹ 16/100

Cost of tin plating 173.25 cm² = 16/100 × 173.25

Cost of tin plating = ₹ 27. 72
