The volume of steel is 56.83 cm³. (Approx value.)

Given data :

Thickness = 0.5 cm

Inner radius = 4 cm

So,

The volume of the inner hollow space is = {(2/3)π(4)³} = {(2/3)×(22/7)× 64} = 134.09 cm³

The radius with included metal is = (4+0.5) = 4.5 cm

The volume with included metal = {(2/3)π(4.5)³}= {(2/3)×(22/7)×(91.125)} = 190.92 cm³

So,the volume of the metal = (190.92-134.09) cm³ = 56.83 cm³ (approx.) (Answer)
