Radius of the circle (dome) = 3.5m
Curved surface area of dome =
2\pi {r}^{2}
That is :
=2*22/7*3.5*3.5
=2*22*3.5*0.5
=22*3.5
=77m²
Cost of painting = 25*77
= rs. 1925

Hope this will be helping you

Given : a hemispherical dome of temple is to be painted from outside

the radius of the Dome is 3.5 m

To Find : the cost of painting @ rupees 25 per m²

Solution:

outer Surface area of  hemispherical dome = 2πR²

π = 22/7

R = 3.5  = 7/2 m

Surface area  = 2(22/7)(7/2)²

= 77  m²

cost of painting @ rupees 25 per m² = 25 x 77

= 1925

cost of painting = Rs 1925
