volume of the iron used to make the tank is 0.06342 m³

thickness of iron sheet , t = 1 cm

inner radius of hemispherical tank, r = 1m cm

outer radius of hemispherical tank, R = r + t = 1.01 m

now volume of the tank = 2/3 π(R³ - r³)

= 2/3 × 3.14 × (1.01³ - 1³)

= 6.28/3 × (1.030301 - 1)

= 2.093 × 0.030301

= 0.063419993 ≈ 0.06342 m³
