a hen and it's egg have 205 rupees. if hen have 200 rupees more than it's egg..? what is the value of egg

Total value of hen and egg = 205 
= value of hen + value of egg = 205
Give that value of hen is 200 rupees
therefore substituting the value,
= 200+ value of egg = 205
= value of egg = 205 - 200
                        =5
THEREFORE The value of egg will be 5 rupees . :)

then hen = x+200

according to question, hen + egg = 205

or

x+ (x+200) = 205

x+x = 205-200

2x = 5

x = 5/2 = 2.5

i am pretty sure it's the answer
