A hens egg is formed by the the repeated cell division inside the body and then covered by the protective layer ,then why a hens egg is called a single cell ?

THIS IS BECAUSE IT IS FORMED BY THE SINGLE CELL BY THE FUSION OF MALE AND FEMALE THAT IS CALLED ZYGOTE ZYGOTE ONLY UNDERGOES MITOTIC DIVISION FOR FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF EMBRYO AND THEN FOETUS..
