Heterozygous means two different alleles.
Let tall plant be = TS.
Let short plant be = SS.
Here, T is dominant, S is recessive
Now, draw the punnet square.
It is so clear that half of the plants are tall and half of the plants are tall.
- Phenotype is a way to describe the traits you can see. So, Ratio of Tallness to shortness is 1 : 2.
- Genotype is the genetical traits. So, Ratio = 1 : 2 again.
