To Find : in how many ways can the team end the season with 8 wins, 4 losses, and 3 ties?

Solution:

15 games can be arranged in 15! ways

now there are 8 wins   , 4 looses  and 3 ties

Hence number of ways  = 15!/ (8! . 4 ! . 3 !)

= 2,25,225

in 2,25,225  ways  the team can  end the season with 8 wins, 4
