A hocky ball if mass 200g travelling at 10m/s is struck by hocky stick so as to return it along its original path with velocity of 5m/s. calculate the mangitude of change of mimentum occured in the motion of the hocky ball by the force applied bt the hocky stick.

Given!

Initial velocity = 10 m/s
Final velocity = -5 m/s (Becuase it's in the opposite direction)}.

Change in momentum
=( Final Momentum - Initial Momentum)

 = Mass(Final Velocity - Initial Velocity)

= (200/1000) (-5-10) = -3 kg.m/s
