A hollow cylinder and a solid cylinder having same mass and diameter are rolled at inclined plane, then which will reach first at the bottom?
(a) Both at same time
(b) Hollow cylinder
(c) Solid cylinder
(d) Which has more density

c) Solid cylinder

If the inclined plane is frictionless, both will reach at the same time irrespective of masses and densities. But here they are rolling. Rolling depends on moment of inertia, higher the value of moment of inertia, higher would be the rolling kinetic energy and hence lower will be the translatory energy.
