volume of cylinder=volume of shpere
\pi r^{2} h =  \frac{2}{3}  \pi \:  {r}^{}
22/7 ×3×3×h=2/3×22/7×3
h=9/2
h=4.5

let the increase in the water level in the cylinder be h cm .the increase of the height because of the volume of the sphere dropped in the cylinder
therfore increase in volume of the water in cylinder =volume of the sphere
πr^2h=4/3πr^3
h=4πr^3/3πr^2
h=4×1.5×1.5×1.5/3×3×3
h=0.6 cm
