The solid iron ball will reach the ground fast because being hollow it has less weight and the solid iron ball has more weight so it will reach faster as heavier things are fastly attracted by gravity.^.^

ubaid74: I had a query
ubaid74: Time taken to fall is independent of the mass of the object. The equation, s = ut + at^2, can be used to explain the answer. Since the balls are dropped, the initial velocity (u) is taken to be zero.

That gives us s = at^2

Since both objects are in the state of free fall, they thus experience the same acceleration. Hence, time taken to reach the ground for both, is equal
ubaid74: What about this
RudrakshiNanda: but the acceleration due to gravity depends on mass
ubaid74: but something is getting wrong in this
RudrakshiNanda: okkk
RudrakshiNanda: wait
RudrakshiNanda: i will clear it tomorroe

Solid iron ball will reach the ground first.

This is because...

F = MA ( Mass × acceleration )

Since Force is directly proportional to mass so, the ball with greater mass will reach the ground faster.
