Explanation:

When r<a, there is no charge density in the hollow sphere as r>=a(given). Therefore electric field is 0.

When r lies between a and b electric field acrs hue to the presence of the surface charge which can be calculated by the formula E= kq/r^2 where k=1/4 pi € and q=surface charge density.

When r>b, again there is no charge density in a similar way as in case of (i). thus E=0.
