a hollow wooden cylinder has a thickness of 1.5 cm . it is 28 cm long and has an outer radius of 5.5 cm . find the volume of oil it can hold

Length (Height) of hollow wooden cylinder=28 cm

Inner radius of hollow wooden cylinder= outer radius - Thickness

Inner radius =5.5-1.5=4 cm

Inner volume= pie r^2 h

= 22/7×4×4×28

=1408 cm^3

So, The volume of oil it can hold=1408 cm^3
