Given :- A home - owner is in st al li ng a fe nc e around the square garden. The garden has a perimeter of 6480 cm.

Solution :-

Let us assume that, side of square is x cm .

so,

→ 4 * side = 6480

→ 4x = 6480 { Required equation .}

→ x = 1620 cm .

now, if instead of square it is a rectangular garden and circular garden :-

  • Length and breadth must be given .
  • Or Relationship between length and breadth is given .
  • for circular garden we can find radius by :- 2 * π * radius = perimeter of circumference of garden .

now, if we have to level the grass inside it instead of fencing the garden , we need to find the area of square .

then,

→ Required area = (side)² = (1620)² = 2624400 cm²

if there is path of width x is running inside , then,

→ Area of path = (1620)² - (1620 - 2x)²
