A honeybee leaves the hive , traveling at a speed of 4mph and returns 1 hour later . What was the distance traveled and the displacement of the honeybee in miles ?

The honeybee travels 2 km and return to its hive. There is no displacement in this trip. Because, the displacement depends upon the two positions - initial and final. Here there is no such thing, as the initial and final position are same and the displacement is zero in this trip of honeybee.
