A horizontal force 500N pulls two masses 10 kg and 20 kg connected by light string neglecting friction. What is tension in string ? Does the answer depend on which mass end the pull is applied?

If not then please tell me the answer....

And no the answer does not depends on the mass of the body...

manishigi123pd5cpc: answer is 166.7 N for 20 kg and 333.3 N for 10 kg mass.
