A horizontal force of 10N displace a 5kg objects through a distance of 2m in the direction of force. The work done by the force will be
Option - 10j , 20j, 30j, 5j, and 50j

Fore applied on the body (F)         = 10 N

Distance traveled by the body (S) = 2 m

Work done  by the body (W)           = ?

   

   from,

                     Work done = Force applied×Displacement traveled

                                    W = F.S

                                        = 10 × 2

                                        = 20 joule

Force = 10 N

Mass = 5 kg

Distance = 2 m

Hence displacement = 2 m since the body moves in the direction of force.


Formula

Work = force × displacement

         = 10 N × 2 m

         = 20 N m

         = 20 J

The work done is 20 J
