a horizontal horizontal force of 10 n is applied on to a block of mass 2 kg is resting on a rough horizontal surface

force applied downward is equal to force applied upward .

Force applied downward = mass × acceleration due to gravity

=2×10

=20N

so force applied upward is also 20N

as force applied horizontally is 10N

so net force is 20N-10N

=10N
