A horizontal pipe of non-uniform cross section allows water to flow through it with a velocity of 1 m/s when 50 kPa pressure is exerted at a point. If the velocity of the flow has to be 2m/s at some other point, what will be the pressure at this point?
A. 97 kPa
B. 48.5 kPa

Applying Bernoulli's equation at point 1 and point 2,
⇒P1+21ρV12=p2+21ρV22
⇒50×103+21×103(1)2=p2+21×103×4
⇒5×104+500−2000=p2
⇒p2=48.5kpa
hope it helps uuu
