Derivation

Let work be W.

Let force be F.

Let displacement be s

Let the time be t

We know that W = ( F × s ) / t

                    Also s / t = velocity

                     ==> W = F × v .............................(1)

Power

We know that power = W / t

W = F × v [ from 1 ]

   = 200 N × 36 km/hr

   = 7200 J

P = W / t

  = 7200 J / 1 hr

  = 7200 J / ( 60 × 60 ) s

  = 7200 J / 3600 s

  = 2 W

We know that :

I HP = 746 W

==> 1 W = 1/746 HP

==> 2 W = 1/373 HP

The power is 1/373 HP or 0.00268 H.P

Hope it helps u:-)

Answer:

9.65

Explanation:

Given

Force= 200N

Velocity=36km/hr

Power= F×V

=200 × 36

=7200 W

1 horsepower = 746W

Total Horsepower = 9.65
