A horse is placed for a grazing inside a rectangular park 70m by 52m and is tethered (tied)
to one cornor by a rope 35m long, find the area the horse can graze.​

solution :-

length of rope = 35 m

it is given that park is in the shape of rectangle then all its angle will be 90 degree

now ,

area grazed = area of sector or area of quadrant

= 1/4 ×πr2

= 1/4 × 22/7 × 35 × 35

= 11×5×35/2

= 962.5m2
